As I said 2 weeks ago, now we started to see DMs from 2018 January applicants.
It seems they keep the same pace for processing. App to DM duration is still 21 months.

It's showing my passport validity as well my visa validity.

I’m on my 17 th month please update

I know a person who applied in Nov 2017 and got his medical request in July 2019. I know its hard to wait but it does happen sometimes. So this is pretty normal. Just sit back tight. Good Luck!

I would like to change my residential address via the web form.

• I relocated to another country. If I change my country, do I need to send additional documents as well? such as residence permit etc.?
• Does this operation change my local Visa Office?
• How long does it take to see the new address on my ECAS account?

I need to renew my passport for getting US visa, because my passport will expire in 6 months. Meanwhile, I am waiting for PR approval soon.
Is it OK if I will get PR visa in my old passport (to avoid any possible delays), then renew my passport (for getting US visa) and keep my old passport as well. Then to enter Canada with both passports. Old passport will be canceled but PR visa will be valid. Do these seem correct?

13.15. Valid visas in expired passports
If an expired passport contains a valid visa counterfoil, the counterfoil can still be used since the expiration of the passport has no effect on the visa's validity. Holders of a valid visa may continue to use their visa until the date it expires even if the visa is in an expired passport. Visitors can fulfill
the visa and passport requirements by presenting both the renewed and expired passports containing the valid visa counterfoil to a BSO when seeking entry into Canada.

The Regulations state that visas should not be issued longer than the validity of the passport. However, due to preIRPA cases, it is possible to encounter visas in expired passports. It is not possible to "transfer" a valid visa into a new passport. If the holder of a valid visa wishes
to have a visa placed in their new passport or if the passport is deemed ‘not valid’ for political or security concerns, visitors must apply for a replacement visa by submitting a new application and paying the replacement document fee in accordance with R311(2).
If the applicant wishes to obtain a visa valid for a longer period in the new document, this will constitute a new temporary resident visa application and any applicable fees resulting from this new application will be collected. The previous visa will subsequently be canceled.
