Hey guys , "I have a Medical results have been received." status from Nov 2018...how long do you think until the PPR? I'm concerned because my CSQ ends in mid 2019!

you don't have to worry about the CSQ it remains valid even after expiry date
"If the applicant’s CSQ is valid at the receipt of the application at the CIO, the CSQ will be considered valid until a decision is rendered on the permanent residence application by IRCC."

Is it possible for background checks to be completed before medical instructions? I thought background check start after completing the medicals and passing it.

for my case, the Background was first then MR
