My medical status says " you have passed medical exam" ( status changed on 05th july 2018) . what are all the next steps and at what stage I am standing before getting PR .

my back ground check still says " we are processing your background check"

Thank you. No I was not asked for a second medical request. I think BC started around May 2017, I don remember exactly.

Guys I'm SO done with this SH*T.....

16 months, 3 weeks, 1 day and counting... When I applied processing time was 13 months...

I lost my job and am looking for a new one and I do not want to miss out on opportunities AGAIN because I have to apply for a work permit and the processing time is 7 weeks... (happened last year).

I tried to call and I can't get through. I sent a web form request, but the delay is 10 business days. I'm still waiting for notes requested on March 13th. (I sent yet another email about that...)

People who applied after I did are getting DM...

WHAT'S THE HOLDUP..?????????

Sorry. Had to get my frustration out.

Now you don't have to wait much dear
Min 1.5 month to 3 month you got Dm and it's your second last stage ,now your BG starts after this

In between I got response from CIC on my application. Looks like my application will get delayed past posted processing time.They got back to me in 23 hours on my email.

"Dear Sir/Madam,

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum.
