As you said land in Quebec first, after landed what sort of travel document require to go to Toronto ?
None. Once you have landed you can freely move around within Canada.

On.my GCMS notes, the lock in date is the date my CSQ was issued and not the date my PR application was received at CIC ( as its suppose to be ,refering from thier website). Is this the same with everyone?

Hello,
I just received my CSQ two days ago. I am about to lodge for the federal, My question is how long is the processing time? I am currently in Edmonton, Alberta as an international student. Are there any chances of refusal of PR in the federal stage? Thanks! Hoping to hear from you soon!
Hi. I got my CSQ last January 9, 2017. I was hesitant on filing so I only filed last January 2018. They got my application January 22, 2018.

You'll get your application number and UCI soon after (mine was last March 21, 2018) that and you can immediately check your progress. I'm not sure how long it takes. I'm hoping it won't be more than 1 year.

Hi all,

My PR Application got returned today. They want me to sign the general form in ink and not digitally !

However, I'd like to know if I have to pay again or I just need to mail back my application with the new general form well signed and the old receipt.
Note that the old receipt has a SYDNEY crossed stamp on it, does it mean that it is refused and I will receive a refund or what ?

Thank you

Hi Youssefzaky, have you got your AOR before the returning of your applications?

celebrate the first day of the 9th month in Security Screening.....COME ON, CSIS and CBSA..:)

The current application processing time for Quebec is 15 months at the federal stage. It means that 80% of applications in the recent past have taken that long to process. I'm under the impression that 97-98% of applications are approved (from open statistics of CIC).

Once I get the PPR, there is any due date to land in Canada? 3 months? 1 year?....

Just check the expiry date up on the right hand side of the COPr and the visa stamped on your passport .

I received today the Pre-Arrival email, is it a good signal that my DM is close? My timeline is on my signature. Thanks.
Yes you’re almost done. Congratulations and best of luck!

I will be 15 months on April 9th and no MR.
However I received the invitation to pre-arrival services this morning. So I guess someone maybe working on my file.
It's strange though because previously this came close to actually receiving the pr but lately persons have been getting it before MR also.

Yes, I have COPR listed like this, and it has an expiry date meaning the deadline for landing. The document is also specified as COPR, but maybe they filled it in later. So it looks like yours has been issued and it should be on its way soon!!
Hi Betula...thank you. I got my passport back with visa stamped in it along with copr. Can you tell me what documents I need during landing, I am planning to

Hi, At this point of time, what is the best way to immigrate to Quebec,Canada?

I have a job offer from a Canadian Company in Montreal, Quebec (full-time) which is not validated yet and I am wondering which option is best to immigrate in regards with the time - via temporary work permit or via PR? I heard obtaining PR for Quebec is a very lengthy process and time consuming. So, do you think I should ask my employer for LMIA for getting a temporary work visa and apply for PR after 6 months or should I ask for validated job offer and go for the Quebec PR process.

Any advice will help! Thanks in advance.
