Time between Passport Delivery and Return Tracker Activation is what CIC controls. Maximum I see is 28 days for recent applications.

Let's say PP delivery from both sides take 1 day, you should be able to finish landing formalities 30 days after PPR.
Thanks again. I saw you sent your passport from the US. I applied PR inland, however for the future 2-3 month, I will be in US. Can I change my mailing address on my application through ECAS and mail and receive my passport in US as well?

I think 30 days as well. Have you received your PPR yet?
Not yet, but according to the record, I should be getting one soon. And I will stay in US for about 2-3 month from Dec to Mid March. I want to make sure 1st I can travel and 2nd I can mail and receive my passport from US.

Yes. Though I am not sure if you need to update address in eCAS if you are moving temporarily. CIC uses address mentioned in return label to return PP.

I left Canada after I received my AOR (my work permit got expired ) but I have not changed my address.

Should I change the address or I can wait when they contact me for pcc?

I'm in 10 months now.

I believe you are required to inform CIC about permanent change in address within 30 days.

Thanks for the reply! I do have my permanent address still at Montreal, and I have my friend collecting my mail for me, all my car, insurance are still registered in Montreal. I guess I won't bother to change the address and just wait for the PR decision.

I just spoke to an agent and he said exactly what is mentioned on mycic account, background check is in process and for QSW processing time is changed to 14 months.
