Yes. They received my application in June 2016. My medical exam was in December 2016 and since I received a message that I passed the medical exam in January 2017, I have not heard anything from them. I'm calling them once a month and operators are always telling me that everything is alright and I have to wait.
Looked at your posting history. Did you extend your work permit? Do you have legal status in Canada.
OMG , i think everyone who have background not started , somthing like ... we will send you a messaage when it starts , we will wait long long time
because iam like i passed my medical april 2017 , they validate it and since that nothing changed , i ordred GCMS notes and all 3 steps of background are not started yet.
I dont know what are they doing with our applications
I didn't receive any message regarding my background check, but in MyCIC account the "Background check" field looks like this: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." I didn't order GCMS. Does it mean they started it?
Yes, extending work permit was very easy with CSQ.

You have already passed 13 months deadline ..try for GCMS notes and reach out to your local MP..
Oh that means they already started your background check , i thought they didnt
because mine is , we will send you a message when it starts. So they didnt , and GCMS notes confirmed that they didnt
