I think aref is only talking about landing process here. He will get Visa after DM, after which he can leave canada to go to his home country (without doing landing process at CIC office or through polling). and when he returns to canada he will do landing process at airport.

I might be wrong so let me know if my understanding of Process after DM is not correct

It says: all the agents are currently busy so it can not connect to them; need me to call back again...

called the immigration office 1-888-242-2100 today, after 40 minutes waiting, I was told that everything is OK, maybe get the DM in several weeks, may be one month and a half.
But I think they calculate it by the normal processing time 13 months. therefore there is no useful message.

Im currently calling again, and waiting for the live agent to talk to......this weekend will be the 13 full month after my application submitted...

A nice lady agent told me, she can see there are activities on my file but no additional docs needed at this moment, and it would probably take a little bit more time for the processing as she notice it is reaching to the 13th month limit, and eventually advised me to give a call back if there is still nothing from CIC in two weeks......

At least I know they're still processing my application instead of no activity on it, or it was leaked somewhere that nobody touches...hopefully I'll have sth new within two weeks or I will call back next Friday, or the Friday after next Friday......

I am not an inland applicant and yes, I submitted my application on 1 DEC 2015. My application is being processed in Abu Dhabi.

I have same MyCIC status as you do (except for additional documents). From GCMS notes ( check my signature) it appears that CPC-Ottawa has not opened my file since it was transferred from CIO-Sydney in March 2017.

Mine is the same except the additional doc and background check (in progress) even I haven't got the MR yet.
