You need to wait. You'll receive your AOR (confirmation of reception by CIC) to 3 or 4 months (approx.) and you'll be able to link your application to GCkey and see your file with ECAS.

GCkey is the new ECAS. You can see the progression by step:
- Application status
- Review of eligibility
- Review of medical results
- Review of additional documents
- Interview
- Biometrics
- Background check
- Final decision

ECAS is less precis. You can see "in progress" and "decision made" but it's a good thing to have both, because ECAS let you know when they send you a e-mail :)

Good luck!

Have you tried it before? Any desired or satisfactory results/outcome??

Yes. Since I am out of Canada , I had used a different service to get my GCMS notes. You will get to see all the comments Immigration Officers have added to your file and with this information you can infer possible reasons for delays.

Thanks a bunch for your reply.

So i can link to Gc key & ECAS now or do I need to wait until i get AOR?
Can you please guide me through of how to link for both (GC key & ECAS)
By the way i have never heard of an interview, is it something i can expect?

Anyone received their passports back ?

You can try to link both if them, but it may be possible that it's not working.

ECAS: go to ECAS and enter your IUC, family name and country.

GCKey: you need to create an account. After that, go to "link my application" and enter your informations. Many of candidates have trouble to do it, so you may possibly need to try several times.

For fingerprints, I don't need them, so I suppose it's depend where you are from.

Not yet. However, according to Canada Post, my envelope is somewhere in Montreal. Thaks to the long weekend, I am not sure that when I can get it, I hope today or at latest tomorrow.

Edit: I get the passport after a couple minutes later I wrote this message. Now time to land :) probably this Friday :)

Congratulations! BTW, I have been saw your posts before and would like to confirm one thing with you. You have your passport dispatched from Ottawa just after the Status of Ecas Changed to Approved?

Thanks.
Actually, my ECAS still shows "Decision Made". However, I saw my approval on MyCIC 22 June. Here is the timeline after PPR.
12/06 PPR mail
13/06 I sent the passports
14/06 passports arrived at CIC Ottawa
22/06 I saw "Approved " on MyCIC account
23/06 CIC send passport
27/06 passports arrived to me :)

the long arriving is just because long weekend. Normally it takes max 2 days.
