Let's hope for the best. On the flip side, is there any timeline or sign for us to realize that this ain't gonna happen? I mean the new online system was supposed to make things quicker but this "waiting for treatment" status is really making me frustrated
Yes, the system was supposed to make things easier, while we always log in and see nothing more than "We are processing your file. We will inform you if an update is required !"
I don't know what my approach should be when seeing this message every time. I try to distract myself but it seems to be impossible !

Thanks for your hint. However, what I said applies to eCAS. It seems that the message is not going to change! Now, it is about two months since I have sent additional documents.

Should we send new photos by passport or we have to take it with us while landing? I mean when we should give them new picture before they request it?

Same here, submitted at the end of June 2016, still nothing new from CIC; the only thing we can do is just waiting......Eventhough I am still waiting from Jun 2016 and dont know when I will get this DM
You can follow this link to get your GCMS/CAIPS notes for CAD 5 ( if you are in Canada). This might give you a clue on where your file is stuck.

I checked my application status online and in the details section it is mentioned as " Your action is required " but there are no messages or instruction explaining what kind of action is required by immigration .I didnot received any update on my email also .
and the status of my application is we are processing your application
so kindly let me know if anybody else in this forum had encountered the same issue . I shall be very thankful to you

Under the new Bill C6 amendment, what is the permanent residency physical presence (nb of days) obligation to renew the permanent residence card which is initially given for 5 years)?
previously, it was 2 years out of 5 years to get the permanent residency card renewed.

This part, I'm not sure. People mention that they were requested to give a new picture after landing and during PR card process with canda photo studio's address, and date. However, I'm not sure where to give a new picture before asking for it. I also want to do that so if you know, please post it here.
