Can you provide an updated excel sheet

Thanks

This is a quote from alemom from a few days back. Links are good:

In this case is only the information for those whom I believe are and were QSW inland applicants, and their dates of: Application Filed (App Filed), Acknowledge of Receipt (AOR) and the reception of the Passport Request (PPR) or CoPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence). The last three columns are the number of days calendar elapsed between each date.

@marcomcarneiro kindly made a spreadsheet with a previous version of this information:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/quebec-skilled-worker-federal-stage-after-csq-t298038.0.html;msg5659681#msg5659681

And placed it in google.docs:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11kdzo2tA_6HiILyuHtDsYtVajswDvHYTUiEFlFM1b28/edit?usp=sharing

Recently, I found that @pareshprince made another spreadsheet but is for QSW in general (not only inland applicants):

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t466730.0.html;msg5669755#msg5669755

And he placed it in google.docs:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oR-cPqNyPF0a6ZQea9WLycUdnZ_QqosuIdhZATf7AYw/edit

I hope is usefull, regards

so people who got AOR on March 17th have been approved, next person should be @khanhle?

It's not an exact science, but so far it seems quite accurate. I think it's fair to say @khanhle should be next - but I'd rather say it's probably :)

Hi,

I am not aware of any laws prohibiting you from applying for Canadian PR if you have a green card. However, you will not be able to keep your PR in Canada in the long run if you are not there. You need to live in Canada for 2 of every 5 years to retain permanent residence status.

If you do not mind my asking, is there any particular reason you want to Canadian PR if you plan to live in the US? As you can see, the PR paperwork is long and requires a lot of effort, seems too much of a hassle if you are not planning on staying in Canada. Maybe there are other permits that better suit your needs.

The main reason is opportunity. Day by day American companies are collapsing. And situation occurring worse, so keep future security i want both residency together. I had my CSQ and required to apply for a federal, thats what i am thinking, am i wasting money or save to apply for Canadian Pr? if long run i can not keep it?

I hope, because I am the next one and you are the next next one. It is just so close, I am getting crazy.

wow I think that will be awesome.

a couple of days ago I mentioned here, specifically addressing @alemom, that I have imagined such a scene in which she and her family and I (now including you @Doris801), do our landing process together--technically of course we will do it separately, but how great it will be if we can all arrange to do it around the same time at the same Port of Entry?
i am just not sure how feasible it can be :)
are you planning to spend a day in the US first on that day?

I might just do the flagpoling. :)

Hi @LAMPARD,
I added to the table-list, thank you for your info...

Believe it or not, the time lapses are more or less congruent for periods of time (see the tables). Sometimes it takes longer or less (see the columns) but looks that they work in "batches"... I made a comment to @mandy13 you can see it here:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/quebec-skilled-worker-federal-stage-after-csq-t298038.0.html;msg5691075#msg5691075

I see a lot of people that are also interested in knowing the time lapses or delays, but they are from other VO outside Canada (like @Helen b), and the table I made was for QSW, Inland Applicants (VO Ottawa-ON or Sidney-NS), so I think those references won't be of help, but I propose (again) that all can fill their information in the Excel file, and add new Sheets (@marcomcarneiro as I said before, I took the liberty of adding a new sheet with more info to your same file) here it is:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11kdzo2tA_6HiILyuHtDsYtVajswDvHYTUiEFlFM1b28/edit#gid=736440819

If you (the interested ones) open a new Sheet for each Visa Office (VO) you can have all your info together and I think will be of help. You can add more dates if you like. Here one that @pareshprince did:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oR-cPqNyPF0a6ZQea9WLycUdnZ_QqosuIdhZATf7AYw/edit

You can take information from it. I think that mixing all of different VO together won't give you a "key" number of day or delays (I'm referring to my "theory" of the 280 days, @marcomcarneiro knows about it ;)).

And, if anybody has time, can elaborate something like this one:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Nvt9rF1_IwmX63KPjBLM97WZir_9UuhD4YkkL0jsIAo/edit#gid=1916892879

One comment about the passport request. You will need to send your passport with a prepaid Xpress Canada Post envelope. Don't forget to write down the tracking number of that Xpress envelope. ;)

Does somebody know another way to track the returning passports?

We forgot to write down the Xpress envelope number. :'( :'( :'( :'(

O! I was so lucky--the lady at the Canada Post counter suggested that I take a photo of the return envelope. I was wondering what photo? (sorry I was totally absentminded that day). Then she pointed her finger at the tracking number and said, yes, take a photo of the envelope. I was still very puzzled. I finally realized that yes I will want to track it later and clumsily took out my phone....

dear alemom, I hope your passports and CoPRs will return soon enough that you wouldn't feel the need to track the number :(

Hi,
Can anyone advise what type of tests are conducted during the medical check up? How much does it cost? I need to know as I can prepare myself to be fit, as during the last few months I did not exercise at all due to work load 8)
