For which stage you are going to apply

Is it for CSQ part or for the federal part?

hi all

I am Quebec Selection Certificate holder and going to apply for Police clearance certificate for my Federal application .

I am staying in Pune india from last 1 year and recently got my passport issued from Pune india but my permanent address is in Patiala Punjab

Below are my queries

1. Can I get my police clearance certificate from ( Senior Superintendent of police) SSP office in Patiala ? Will that be valid for Immigration canada ?

2. Or should i get police clearance certificate from Passport office in pune ?

Which one is acceptable to Immigration canada in India ?

I asked this question earlier also but I am still confused and the question is

DO i need police clearance certificate for my non accompanying wife also ?

As per Immigration" cic website form it is mentioned

Who needs a police certificate?

In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate. You must get one from each country or territory where you have spent six or more months since the age of 18.

and in document checklist form it is mentioned

1. you must get a police certificate from each country or territory where you lived

So there is no mention of family in this document checklist form

Please Adivce .

Anybody know, how much time is required for File Transfer to VO after AOR mail.

I just knew only one answer from your questions

DO i need police clearance certificate for my non accompanying wife also ?

Ans: To the best of my knowledge, you do not need if she is non-accompanying person.

Better you submit PCC in Passport office in Pune ,they will do everything even though your permanent residence in patiala.
no need PCC for your wife if not accompanying you .

Hi aneesh009,

Would you ask the Civil ID Department in the UAE to correct the name on your Civil ID to be just like your Passport
the name on the PCC should be the same as on your Passport.

Hi,
You can send a soft copy of the receipt to this email id :CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca. Or you can send a hard copy along with the RPRF request email copy to the mail box of new delhi immigration office.

Please share your timeline.
Thanks

Hi All

I dont want to seem like im dragging this on. But what does linking your file mean? I know the process thank to you, but what exactly is it? what does it do? and also if you have a representative/consultant...is it wise to do this "linking"?

Hi Bajan4Quebec,

Well it is not recommended to link your application to the CIC website as your representative would no longer receive important communication for your application.

Regards,

Hello everyone,
I just got the email to do my medical exam, i'm on a business trip for more than 30 days. And the medical exam fees in the country I'm currently in is really high.
Is there a way to extend the 30 days period CIC gave me??

Anyone can help? Please reply ASAP

at the Middle East they use the middle name too.
You can give a try and provide an explanation letter why the name on the PCC is not identical to the passport one then forward it with your application
I am not sure if there is any applicant in the forum who has a similar experience to share.

Wish you a good luck
