They are increasing my health problem like BP, heard problem, Colostrol etc.

Why they are like this why not they process fast.

Hello Friends,
Just an FYI post.
Most of you have seen that the processing time is now 12 months. Today I am standing at 11months and 10days. I called CIC today. Asked two questions and the answers were something like that:

1. From what time should I start counting the 12months?
-- We received your file on November'15 and started processing on March'16. You should start from November'15. So you have 3 weeks left to reach the 12months.

2. Is there any strict rule that the passport must need to be valid at least for 6 months at the time the CIC will send the PPR?
-- The call center agent put me on hold for 10min to consult with his superior to answer this question and got back to me with the following answer : there is nothing mentioned about the "6months rule" anywhere, but its good to have your passport valid for 6 months. As you are an inland applicant, its not gonna be a problem for your (note: on November, its gonna be 12months of my pr application and my passport will have the validity of 5months and half on that point), but its suggested that you go for the renewal, but do that on November 1st week, call us and ask for an update and then take the decision if it takes longer time. I (the call center agent) believe that you will get the ppr before that.

Anyways, just wanted to share my experience. Thanks.

Hi MR21,
So nice of you for sharing us with your call with CIC agent. I won't call them because It could be useless....

My application was received by CIC on Oct. 16, 2015. So, it will be 12 months by this Sunday, October 16, 2016.
Let us see whether CIC will or not meet this time limit.

I am always waiting for the PPR....

Hi charlottemontreal,

So, you are gonna get the secret opened very soon! Please let us know about what they say after 12months. According to my call today, you should get something by this week, please let us know about that as well.

BTW, I am from MTL as well, planning to go for flag-polling at Lacolle.

Thanks

I do not believe I will receive PPR by end of this week.

Several guys in this thread who are July, August and September 2015 applicants have not received PPR yet. Even 13 months or more has passed for them.

So, I guess I need to wait until end of November to have some surprise.

If that's true, it's likely that they put inland applications on hold. :(

Hi all,

FYI....communication sent by DAKAR VO to all applicant :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :'(

I think operational reason means the quota is full

I felt so inspired when i read MR21's post, only a brief moment of happiness until i read hicham87's. :-\ Do you think the non-issuance of visa until jan 2017 applies to all VOs?

I think this is for all VO.

Hello,

I have recently received csq for myself and my family but I am also expecting a baby very soon.

In order to speed up my PR application processing time, i am planning to apply for PR in a week or two, then when baby comes in a month or so, I apply for csq for newborn and afterwards update my PR application once csq is obtained for newborn.

Do you think its best to inform CIC about the newborn already when sending the PR application forms? Or not say anything just in case they freeze my application then when csq is obtained for baby update my application?

OR do you think its best to wait until baby comes, apply csq for newborn, then once csq is obtained for baby send complete PR application considering it will delay my processing time by around 4-5 months?

Could you please let me know your thoughts?

Hi,

I was in the same situation like you. I waited for my newborn to be arrived. Then applied for the CSQ. After getting the csq for newborn then submitted the federal application for all together. I believed that will save time as there will be no loop-over of my application. Hope this helps you. Thanks.
