Hallo everyone,

Does anyone recall when was the last time someone received Medical request or any kind of communication from Abu Dhabi visa office?

I am asking because I met many people whom applied from July & august 2015 who are processed at that particular VO and didn't receive any kind of communication to date.

What applications this VO working on these days? how many of us are processed at Abu Dhabi?

I have the same feeling. Abu Dhabi office used to send medical requests after 5 to 7 months but they that is not the case anymore.

My federal application is also being processed at Abu Dhabi VO, got my AOR November 2015, and nothing after that...once the 13 months processing time is over, i'll submit a Web form asking for clarification. They claim that they will reply only to enquires about applications taking longer than the normal processing time.

"you are seeking information that is not available via the Client Application Status service; or
the processing of your application is taking longer than the normal processing time (you will not get an answer if the normal processing time has not yet elapsed)."

Well welcome aboard friend, on the "you seem like you don't mind waiting forever" ship. Hope you like the wait . But seriously I hope you hear good news soon. Did you ask for the GCMS notes? what on them?

My federal application is also being processed at Abu Dhabi VO, got my AOR November 2015, and nothing after that...once the 13 months processing time is over, i'll submit a Web form asking for clarification. They claim that they will reply only to enquires about applications taking longer than the normal processing time.

here's a snippet from the site:

the processing of your application is taking longer than the normal processing time (you will not get an answer if the normal processing time has not yet elapsed)."

May I suggest doing that in November or more preferably on December? you might have a better answer, also try to request the GCMS notes ( just for good measure). I am planning to do that (contacting the IRCC after 12to 13 months from the AOR) . I did apply in July 2015 and got my AOR in September.

Well to be franc I hate waiting ;D I am also responsible for the delay: Once I got the CSQ it took me 6 months to get ready my federal Application.
I can see that some of the applicants are waiting much more time than I do, so I cannot complain at all.
I see it as I planted a tree and I am waiting to get the fruits. it takes time for that.. right

Medical received appeared on July 30th here and no update at all since, applied in November. I'm fairly certain it's normal, most of us are waiting.
