Hello All,

I had applied for QSW in July 2012 and finally got the approval on 29th June 2016!! I'm now in the process of submitting the PR application and the police clearance certificate. Does anyone know how long does it take for Federal approval from Dubai?

Regards,
Dimple

Thanks for your reply. I guess 13 months is the maximum time. So I wanted to know if anyone else has applied from UAE recently and how long has it taken?

Hi, I would also be interested in a sample if anyone else did this successfully. They haven't requested one from us yet but just in case...

Do you have any idea of why they requested this from you? Did you live in Canada outside Quebec or have a job there?

I'm wondering if we could possibly get asked for a settlement plan, especially since we've been living together here for the past 5 years and I'm a Quebec native...

Question for you all... our application was sent last november and has been in process since. In February, my girlfriend (the applicant) got a job after being a student for the past 4 years. After we received AOR shortly after, we notified CIC that she now has a job and sent them her work contract along with an updated temporary work permit (PGWP), but we haven't sent them a new Schedule A form. Is this a problem? They haven't requested a new schedule A, but I'm wondering if it's necessary to send it given the fact that we did inform them about her new job.

If sending one is required, can it be sent electronically? And can it delay the application? Or should we wait until they ask for it (if they do at all, considering we did inform them via CSE that she has a job)

Hi Guys,
As we don't have any topic specially for federal stage of quebec skilled worker program, I am starting this new one.
So ask as many questions as you can and answer as many as you can, NO LIMITS ;D
Please share your timelines for federal stage and lets eliminate curiosity of others.

For me I've recently got CSQ and will apply for federal as soon as I have all the documents.
Hello seniors.
Can anyone help me? I have a couple of quick questions. I am applying in the second intake in 2016. I have completed my Mon Project application
but I haven't taken IELTS test. I will take the IELTS test later on and results will come after Mon Project submission closes. So can I submit my application now and then later on update my IELTS score as well? I have a score of 59 with family so I qualify currently.
Also same question for my passport. It will expire soon after submission and I will get new ones. Can I update my passport details as well after submission?
Thank you.

Hi Dimple Bhatia,

13 Months is the maximum, that's correct but still your application needs to be complete, cause if any document or information is missing, your application will be taking more time.

I urge you to start very quick and make sure your application is correctly filled and your documents are complete; that way, your application might be processed within the 13 Months

According to CIC: Processing times tell you how long it took Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to process applications in the past after receiving a complete application package. Processing times can vary, depending on how many applications IRCC receives. Your application may be delayed if it’s not complete.

Good Luck

Hi Stylove,

Thanks for sharing the thread! I am residing in Dubai, but my lawyers are based in Montreal to whom I'll be sending all the forms. So they will submit it for me from there itself. BTW, can I choose where I want to apply from?

Regards,
Dimple

Anyone know the answer to this?

Does Schedule A need to be updated and resent every time there's a situation change (new job) or is it ok to leave it as it was when application was submitted?

My file received by CIC on 20 May, its more than 2 months, NO fed file number yet. So frustratingly slow. Waiting and waiting :(
