I think that it is Sydney that sends medical requests now.

We're also waiting on medical request since receiving AOR at the beginning of March. Applied inland...

Have you ordered the GCMS to check the application status?

I'm not sure what that is? How can I do that? I checked ecas, still at 3 lines since we received AOR.

It is free if you live in Canada.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-personal.asp

You could find all info related to your application, including all notes from IRCC officer.

Could it slow down the process in any way and can it be asked for multiple times?

No, it won't even affect your application as it is arranged by another dept. other than IRCC. I am talking about the e-files, if you need physical ones, I am not sure.

And of course, you could order as many times as you want, but each takes 30 days to rec the report.

I ordered mine before RPRF, and PPR came ahead of the report....

Interesting. I might just do that if I get worried and the MR doesn't come soon. Already paid RPRF a few weeks back as they sent a generic "reminder" email that included a mention to pay RPRF. Don't think it was the "official" RPRF request but hey, it was something confirming the application is still underway. I have no idea why they wouldn't request a medical exam though. Hopefully it comes soon!

Dear All,

I have recently got my CSQ , I am staying in Singapore for past three years .
I want to apply for Federal now , but I am facing a problem is I need the Police Clearance from Singapore Police as well .
In CSQ it is never mentioned that need to have PCC .
So on what basis i should go to Singapore Police asking the same .
Can some one help me .I am very tensed

Regards,
Prateek

Hello Prateek,

CSQ does not ask for Police Certificate. However, the Federal application for Permanent Residence does. If the Singapore police ask you why you need this, you should tell them that you need this certificate as part of an application to Canada Permanent Residence (be truthful).

If you do not provide it upfront with your initial application, you will receive an email from the CIC asking that you provide it later on. Not providing it will almost surely have your application refused.
The sooner you provide this, the better. If the Singapore Police Certificate takes a while to get, then you can always submit your Canada application without the police certificate, and submit it when you receive it from the Singapore Police.

Received my CoPR today!
I will now need to officially "land" by getting an appointment at the CIC office, or crossing the border.
Here is my timeline:

Visa Office: Ottawa Processing Center
App. Filed: September 9, 2015
AOR Received: December 23, 2015
Med's Request: February 9, 2016
Med's Received: February 29, 2016
RPRF: Paid Upfront
Decision Made: June 6 , 2016
PPR/COPR: June 10, 2016

Total duration up to this point: 9 months, and 1 day.

It's possible. However, you will need to submit them only when requested. Have them ready with you.
