It took 13 days from when i sent the passports to receive them back

Each country is different and even within one country stats differ and they depend on many factors. Usually from what I have read on many forums it is 3 months and counting. So you are still in the no-frills zone. Unfortunately, RPRF request does not mean that you have passed all the checks and you are accepted.

I have got my CSQ via PEQ on Dec 30 2015 and filed my application (QSW) to sydney NS on January 4 2016, the post office informed me of their receipt on January 7.

From what I gathered in this forum, I believe it would normally take 3-4 months to obtain the "AOR". But I still have got it (it's 10 days more than 4 months I think). Is it normal? And how exactly is AOR received? (By email or mail?) I have been thinking about this and expecting something (and worrying about some other things about this application) from time to time ....

Did you check your spam folder? It is really strange that it has been so long. Have you applied before for a Canadian visa? If yes you are sure to have an UIC with each you can check ECAS if you application is already in process or not.

You could call them to check the status of your file, after 4 months they'll accept your call.

2-AOR on 06/08/2015
3-Starting to processing on 18/08/2015

My case is still under process..

however,
I pais my RPR on 11/2015
Medical sent on 02/2016

and still no updates

I sent them an email to ask about the file, i got an answer that my medical was not received and requested to urgently send my daughter medical!!!!
Although, the email sent to the medical center was including all my familly medical, and i have the email proffing that.!!!

any way, i forwarded to them the email previously sent on 02/2016.

i just need to know...does this mean that they didnt start yet the medical check!!! after all thet time!!!
why they didnt email us if somthing was missing after 30 days from the medical request !!?

I dont know!! but i am really confused

Really strange. But I suppose that you have passed all your checks and if they have sent you PPRF and medicals , then your passport request is very close.

Why don't you order CAIPS? It would clarify many things. Where are you from? What visa office handles your file?

I just called (and now out Canada) through this number 613 944 4000 (yes this number works)
The lady told me if I still do not receive it this week, I should call again next week (may 24, as Monday seems to be a holiday). I want to report this here so in case next week in the worst scenario, I need to call, I may follow up on this thread to ask for advice ... *fingers crossed*
