here is my timeline

applied :30 dec 2015
aor: 25 feb 2016
interview latter 4 may


i have applied on 30 dec 2015 with in quebec ,i am getting 49 points on dot.

i dont understand how can they open my file in four months?
their processing time is one year..
in 4 months they called me for an interview..

i am so worried be cause i ask so many people they they they never open file in 4 months...
there must be some thing wrong..

please suggest me what should it be?

That's good. I think they changed the rules. Why are you worried?

I applied on August 2015 and got my MR last week. So, I guess expect it withing 2-3 months.

I agree with David83, you should not worry, if they processed your application that fast, you should be happy and excited. Get ready for the interview and do not miss this wonderful chance that many others dream about..

Hi Friends - Please advise me on the below steps (got it from the Forum name- Re: where to send pay Right to Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)? )
which i have followed to submit my RPRF receipt through courier about 1 and half months back.

"1) Pay the RPRF online or get a DD (DD is preferred) - Take the receipt or DD (490 CAD per adult)

2) if any pending PCC is there, attach them

3) You need to print the document request letter received from NDVO and attach

4) Copy of first and last page of Passports (incl spouse and children)

5) Prepare a cover letter with all the above stuff mentioned and include your file number and UCI number in letter

Put all the stuff in envelope (before keep a copy for you aside)

mail the envelope to

Canada High Commission
Immigration section
7/8 Shanthipath, Chanakyapuri
New Delhi - 110021 "


But i have not send any soft copy of the receipt to the email address from which it has come or to the email id (for inland applicants) CPCO-Cost-recovery@cic.gc.ca. (is it universal email id or only for inland applicants)

Anyone who experienced on this could share on the next step or any specific email id to send to NDVO.

My estatus didn't change since 9 months!
I received my CSQ on May 2015
Documents sent to federal on June 2015
I paid my RPR on November 2015
Medical done on Feb 2016
My e-status shows only the following:
1-we received your documents on 25 June 2015
2-we sent you an aknowledge receipt on 6 August 2015
3- we started processing your file on 18 August 2015

And till know it's still under process

Any idea? Any one can help?

Be updated and hope everything will be alright with medical exam. Do you have any idea how long it takes to show on Ecas after medical Test ?

Your file is in process I think with in a week you will have a medical request.

It's not taking longer now at this moment so keep yourself fit and ready ft medical!

Well, for PPR I think it can take Upto 5 Months and it depends on some work load too .

Some others got the PPR request 5/ 6 months after, but I think this could depend on your VO. I am not sure bro. However, you have crossed the long yard remains some steps to get the fruit of your patience

applications from within quebec are WAY faster that the rest. You are not getting your CSQ yet, you are just going to an interview and then the waiting game continues

I got my CSQ in 2 months. It is very normal. Do not worry.
