I sent only one from my own country. In the reminder letter it says if you have already done it ignore this letter.
I asked my friends who got their PR last year and they didn't send Canadian Police Certificate too.

And they updated your case accordingly, that they received the PCC and you file processing is going on?

I'm not quite sure what do you mean. :P
My status is still "in process". They didn't inform me about receiving PCC or not.

I think the file should be updated when they receive your PCCs if received separably from you application. When did you send them?

Hi
As far as I understand from this forum it takes 10/15 days to get passports back from CPC Ottawa. Once you receive your passports back you can go and do your landing right away.
You are almost done
Congrats!!

Ok thank you for the information.
But a couple of quesitons,
if I do landing, how soon after I can get my PR.
Can I leave Canada right after my landing without a PR card on me ?

I was told, If i do my landing, and become a canadian resident, soon after this moment, My work visa which is what I am currently on will expire
right away, and that without my PR, I will not able able to get back in

Is this true

My current work visa is valid untill december of 2017.

Hi dear folks,

Whoever got the PPR, and sent it already, how long usually it takes for them to return it?
Jacques, did you get your passport already? Could you share with us how long it took for it to come back?

Thanks a lot :)

Dear friends,

I have a few questions about the CSQ, I hope you can help me with these doubts because I can't find the clear answer for these questions online!

We both live and work in Montreal and we expect our CSQ shortly (office: Paris, AOR received 18 months ago). But our work permits will expire within 5 months. In our CSQ application, I am the principal applicant.

Having our CSQ:
1. Can we both have independent work permits (possibly with different durations) or is it mandatory that the principal applicant holds a simple work permit and the spouse is required to have an open work permit tied to the former?

2. On a related note, is it possible to request the visas in reverse order (meaning, the spouse would request the simple work permit and the principal applicant would request the open work permit)?

Thank You in advance!
Have a great day!

Are you sure guys we don't need PCC from Canada? I need to know if I have to start the process, because it takes two weeks. Thanks
