They don't seem to list the VOs processing time anymore, is this a generic average of all of them?

well thats true they have got rid of it , i guess it should be a generic one .

Ohhhh yes they changed it!!! :o

Before, when checking on the CIC Website it showed an individual Processing Time for each Visa Office!!!!

However from the experiences I have read from different forums / people I have heard from, it should take less. Also, this is the whole process..... from AOR to sending you your passport with the Visa stamped on it.

Also this is an average... Each application is way different / complex than others.

In my case, the time is exactly the same for my Visa Office before this change (VO México - Applications from Latin America).... so I cannot say this is a good or bad change for me. What abour your case? Does this improve or worsen your Processing Times? please share information in order to know if they are making the process longer or shorter. ;)

Thanks,

MontréalSW

ADVO was 19 months, now the average is 17, so it works out for me.

Hi There,
I have completed MSc. in Chemical Engineering from University of Birmingham,UK. In UK,MSc is 1 year education. Before MSc.,I had 16 years BSc.Chemical Engineering degree. So my total education is 17 years.
Could you please advise whether its equal to Bachelor degree or Masters degree in Quebec degree frame work, and how many points I can claim for my UK Msc. degree? Thanks

If this is true about 17 months processing time is applicable to all nationalities regardless of your visa office then, I would say that this year 2016 sounds promising to me then.. ::) ::) ::)

Hi quebec100!

Although I have not yet reached the federal stage I have a query.I just want to know whether prior to you receiving the CSQ if you received any letter from quebec immigration informing that you are on wait list for Interview? reason I'm asking is because I've just received a mail informing me I'm on a wait list for interview and I just want to know what my chances are of receiving a CSQ in the mail without having to attend the interview. :)

That means your file is under selection review, soon you will be getting a decision from MICC.
