I am hoping to submit on Monday however I have one question for the seniors or anybody that has gone through this process. Should the consent form be completed now for a step child who is not accompanying now?

Hii guys,

I have a question

I sent my PR application to nova scotia two months ago, yesterday my application returned to me because it was incomplete. what was missed is that the main application and the intend to reside in Quebec must be signed by hand not on computer (I just typed my name and dated at the first time). So they put a label on the signature box to sign there. So my question, I just signed in the box on the same returned application beside my [previously typed name and wrote the new date next to it. Then I sent back the same application as it is without printing any new one.

So, was it correct and will work or I should have printed a new application?
Also it might be returned again because of that?
and finally if it gonna be accepted, will I wait again two months to be processed or there is a priority in this case?

Regards

The same exact thing happened with me with the main application. I just signed the returned application, since it seemed that it was checked and stamped with the date the application was received. Hopefully, the stamped date on the main form is the reference point to open the file.

Hello colleagues,

Please advise if CSQ number is the ' numero de dossier ' or the ' numero de reference ' individuelle' . I am trying to answer a question in the generic form. Thanks for your help.

in case i don't have a job offer and an employer who can wait 2 months for my Work permit , i am going to apply for an Open work permit (once AOR received) and will share the outcome on this thread.. Prior to that, i am going to consult my immigration lawyer and will keep you posted.
On another hand, my current work permit will expire in Oct 2015, can you give me your opinion on the options i have (other than closed work permit and the OPW trial ::)) to avoid leaving Canada until getting PR ..

Hi Luc22, have you found anything new in this matter? i.e. Have you found out if one has to leave the Canada if they quit the job and haven't yet found a new one and they have received the AOR for the PR application from CIC. As I said earlier I'm at this stage and am still waiting to quit my job. I've sent an email to CIC asking the same question, but I'm not sure if they will even reply to my email because of their privacy policies regarding email communication. Did your immigration lawyer advise you anything in this regard? I can't get any immigration lawyer to answer my question, because they say they won't as I did my application on my own and not through them.

Hi ABCD
CSQ number is the " numero de dossier" .. I assume you are answering 6 (b) Section: application details, in the Generic form IM0008.
