Anyone from VO Ottawa and submitted application after January 2015, have AOR already but waiting for MR ?

I am starting to get the feeling that they put all QSW applications on hold currently. I mean regarding the fact that they put CEC on hold for a while and now apparently resumed working on them since things are moving for CEC applicants again, I wouldn't be too surprised.

1) I got mine after 2 months from AOR,, same for other applicants in this forum also living in Mtl -QC who received MR in 2 months +/- few days.
2) That's normal, check after 4 - 7 days until it is updated in the system ,,

Mapsora, I had to have advanced intermediate, to get the CSQ through the PEQ program. I did the courses from nothing at a university in Montreal.

All right now its the time to fill out forms for federal, so my questions are as follows,

1. which CSQ number we use in IMM008 ? (Individual reference number or file number )

2. Do we need to show any funds in bank ?

3. Do we notary attest the photocopies ? (like birth certificate etc)

4. Do we send the file by regular mail or courier ?

5. I want to pay the fees by credit card which is fine i guess or is there is other preferred option ? (like bank draft)

i think its Numero du dossier(file number) as it has 11 digits which fits in form.....

Hi Quebec100 , i have a question. I dont have birth certificate. So i have a self affidavit sworn infront of Notary. Shal i provide this backing up this backing up with high school certifcate and Passport ?

I didn't send any certified photocopies in my application as it is not said so in the checklist (it is only mentioned that a translation should be certified). But I wonder if this is why my application is the slowest one as far as I am aware of!!!

Once the AOR is sent, can we say that the application is complete, or they might ask some documents other than the PCCs and MR after the AOR is sent which might jeopardize the application?

i also didn't have birth certificate but when i needed it i went to the local municipal office and applied, i got it within a month.
but if you are unable to make it then you should take expert's advice. call cic or talk to a lawyer. or try searching in the forum for the proper solution.

well the check-list i had, it was mentioned to send birth certificate photocopy as well as passport photocopies and o marriage certificate photocopy if you are married.

Actually i have but it has a different name. Later when i was admitted to school , my name was different and i have all documents with new name. So i dont want to submit it .
