@Betula, For me, CoPR came with only 1 photo. CoPR(Immigration copy) will contain 1 photo, CoPR(Client copy) will not contain any photo
Ehhhmmmmm. What? So yes, the CoPR with the photo stayed with the officer and I got the one without photo back. But they didn't ask for additional photos. The second one that I sent with my passport and Annex A is with me, it just came back in the same little envelope that I sent it in.... So I am in possession of one of the photos I sent to Ottawa with my passport and now you're telling me they should have taken it for the PR card? Crap.the other photo is for the PR card
CoPR without photo is for the applicants and CoPR with photo is for CIC (officer at POE)
You shouldnt have received your 2nd photo back with your return envelop, CIC going to surely ask you for photo while issuing PR card, may be you will get this communication after 50 days.Ehhhmmmmm. I have already print it and sent it by courier I haveLook at the first link in my signature with plenty of timelines from other applicants, from several visa offices. It should give you an idea of what sorts of processing times people have had.
You need to link your application to your account (there are plenty of instructions online) and after that it will show the status of each step.
From my point of view six months validity will be sufficient. For people who send their passport after PPR...what is the required passport validity ?
I greatly appreciate your help...

Did you successfully linked your PR card application online?
So what's the conclusion ? second photo should be returned or CIC will keep with them ..? what's the point of asking 2 photo when they want to send 1 photograph backI did manage to link the PR card application to my MyCIC.
I guess we will wait and see about the photo... I did some googling yesterday and it seems that there are others who received back their second photo as well and were not asked to submit anything further. It could be that they have scanned my photo in Ottawa and it is in their files... But on the other hand, we do know that some applicants have to resubmit photos for PR card. I don't understand why it's so random with the photos.
So guys, you think that confusion and wait ends when your CoPR is stamped at the border??? Nope
Stay patient. As you can see from the spreadsheet in the first link in my signature, it is taking 90 days and more to receive the confirmation email. You can only then link your application to your online account, as they will give you an application number in it.Important question :-
I have read in many posts that after sending the PR application, you should get an Email stating that they received it and how to link it online.
It has been almost 2 months for me I sent my application and I haven't received any E-mail or Mail stating that they received my application .
I also can not link it online, keep getting no application found.
I think I will just wait and see if they ask for it.So what's the conclusion ? second photo should be returned or CIC will keep with them ..? what's the point of asking 2 photo when they want to send 1 photograph back
