For PPR, do I need to submit both my old passport and my new passport?

My old passport is expired but has all the visas and stamps on it. My new passport is basically brand new.
I have updated my passport to CIC via case specific inquiry.

I have a new passport and sent it without the old one...we'll see.

I don't think they need the old one.

I got the "Pre-arrival Letter" today. not exactly what I expected after 14 month and 5 days! I like to see it as a positive thing but the fact that many applicants get it at earlier stages of their timelines, really doesn't open any doors to hope.

I have mentioned it before, in my case that email came along with the Medical results email. I submitted my meds. by end November. I am in my 17th month since they received my application that was 30 of August 2016.
I am basically pissed. This is literally state run persecution of foreign workers. Those who do not have equal rights in this first world 'heaven'. Bonded labor with limited freedom. So much for boasting about themselves and criticizing other 'regimes'. Discrimination is the only word that comes to mind. totally pissed.

I can understand your frustration guys .

Even more when i see express entry processing times.

I saw yesterday an applicant who sent his EE application on 25th november. Got his PPR on 15th December (yep both dates in 2017).

Just a little patience, i’M sure things gonna resume next week.
