Sounds like they are insisting because of the ridiculous amount of money they are asking for it. If you can't get it in person, why would they be able to get it for you instead? That doesn't make any sense. Also, a police certificate never costs a lot (everyone has to be able to pay for it, even the minimum wage workers). I paid about $20 for mine from Germany. Don't let people rip you off!! If CIC states on their website that you don't need to submit one unless you are a resident - DON'T.

Thanks you very much for your reply. The agent told me that if CIC requested for PCC they would gave me 45 days’ time to submit the certificate. If I couldn’t submit the PCC in time they would reject me. So I am very much afraid. i am paying the same government fees as their commission but they didn’t provide me a good service.

You are right that police certificate never cost a lot. If I am staying in Saudi it is easy to get PCC and it doesn’t cost a lot.

Today my lawyer informed me that they have received a communication from CIC that my VO has made a positive decision on my application.

Any ideas what does that mean in terms of what stage of application does this status corresponds to ?
