From sheet -Amir-IR - is Reg-CSQ and not PEQ ...so yes not french certificate problem...In that case, your problem is about your field, not your French certificate?

About me, I applied via PEQ but I don't have to submit the French certificate cause I graduated from a French university, hopefully I will not see a such problem with my profileFrom sheet -Amir-IR - is Reg-CSQ and not PEQ ...so yes not french certificate problem...
@Bars got his CSQ same way and he got his DM last week within 12 months mark. So you should be good as well.About me, I applied via PEQ but I don't have to submit the French certificate cause I graduated from a French university, hopefully I will not see a such problem with my profile
Hi,Yes. I understand there will be few odd cases that will genuinely be stuck due to enhanced security check. That's why I mentioned "most" and not "all" in my post
I sincerely hope you get your DM/PPR very soon. It sucks to wait for that long after such an awesome profile.
Hello don't worry too much every case is different those checks can pass in a moment.Day 1 of my 14th month today. I called IRCC and they told me they hadn't even started security/criminality yet. I'm totally dejected. Is anyone in VO-Ottawa facing a similar experience?
Similar timeline as yours. File sent January 9th 2017, AOR1 received March 2nd, AOR2 received May 8th. No word since.I've sent my fedral file in 30 Jan 2017 and AOR received 11 March 2017 and till now no medical request from London Visa office. Any one same situation ???!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Raman,
Can you please check "Medical Request" email you received for instructions? Mine had following text ( check text in bold). After taking medical exam, I replied back to the "Medical Request" email with scanned "Medical Information Sheet" as attachment.I received acknowledgement of receipt from Immigration Officer within 50 minutes. It was not an automated reply. It was sent by a real person.

I have sent my PR application to CIC on 26th Sept 2017, Please let me know how to confirm whether they have received my files or not.
I believe it has nothing to do to your major. I studied master of engineering, no phd, no research thesis, no paper.Hi,
My criminality was passed end of April and IRCC has been working on my security check since beginning of May.
I believe I got stuck at security check stage due to two reasons:
-My nationality (I am Iranian)....
-I did my Masters, PhD and postdoc in the field of Materials Engineering in Canada.
Lawyer told me that an in-depth check is required for an applicant who obtained his/her PhD in the field of Materials Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering....
Cheers,
Amir
This is a very specific question but I believe they don't want a passport, because this is a non-accompanying person. Passport is a travel document, so if a person does not need to travel... there are other ways to certify their existence and personal information; most importantly by a birth certificate. I'm sure they would want to see a passport if the baby was accompanying. This is regarding adding non accompanying new born in on going application
I got information from cic that I need to fill in below forms
1. Generic form
2 . Background declaration form
No fees is required to pay as the new born is non accompanying
Docs required
1. Only birth certificate
I am bit confused on the doc required as my baby is born outside canada so am I still don't need a passport ?
Can anyone give kind suggestions on doc required

Yeah your point is absolutely valid but I had to submit the passport copy and police clearance certificate of my wife as she also non accompanying family member.
May be her passport is required as I have to obtain police clearance certificate ..
For the new born I think no police clearance is required .
