i called cic again now to ask them if i got Aor or not yet and he told me we can't do that before 18 weeks really strange

That's normal for call center agent, they have rules. They won't help you if your wait time is under 18 weeks, which is the standard processing time before AOR.
In my case, it took 4 months and 3 days to get AOR.

Hey, living in Montreal, submitted to Sydney on 13 Feb 2015, latest update was "Medical Results have been received". ECAS still showing "in process", no sign of PPR

I got a reminder mail telling me to pay RPRF 1 month before the medical request and i paid it right away.

My timeline is similar to yours, applied on March 4th 2015 and my ECAS showing medical received , RPRF PCCs and Schedule A done / submitted last month,, I expect a CIC decision by Dec / Jan, fingers crossed ;D

Anyone here who sent email to abu dhabi vo because of wrong information they sent for the correspondence? Does anyone who has an idea how many days for the reply from them?

CIC will assign your visa office based on the mailing address and resident address you provide in your application.
The visa office written on your CSQ is not accurate. Mine is Sydney, but when i wrote to them, they told me that my application has been transferred to Ottawa.(and Sydney is just an intake office, they do an initial review of your application, then assign the visa office)
Same thing happens to applicants in China, basically every applicant in China got their CSQ showing their visa office will be Beijing, but the fact is Beijing no longer response to the immigration application, it' Hongkong working on this.

However, it is amazing that my friend ( an applicant from Lebanon) got AOR in 3 months from Sydney and medical request after 10 days as well from Sydney. I could not understand why they started issuing medical requests from Sydney and not from the assigned visa office. Any thoughts gentlemen please ?

I'm applying for the federal stage now. I sent all my documents and they received them in Nova Scotia on 2015-08-13. I still didn't hear ANYTHING from the CIC.. It's been a little more than 3 months now. Is it normal to have to wait this long for the AOR?? Should I sent another new application?? I'm freaking out now and I don't know what to do!!!!!!

I'm currently living and working in Canada.

Hey Here is my timeline, Don't freak out, I also waited nearly 3 months.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 7, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on July 14, 2015.
3 .We started processing your application on July 14, 2015.
4. We sent you medical instructions on September 17, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
5. Medical results have been received.
6. RPRF paid on Nov 11 2015

I got Medical Request&reminder email both from Sydney, 4 months later my girl got her RPRF request from Ottawa, totally no clue what's going on there.
I wrote two e-mails to CIC, one goes to Sydney, other goes to CPC-Ottawa(to figure out where is my medical results). And i got response from both offices:

Please be advised electronic medicals are showing as complete in our database. Your application has been forwarded to an Officer for review. You will be contacted further in due course.

Hi Luc, i did some research based on the timeline of 2014 in-land applicants, found out the average wait time after medical examination is 4-6 months.
Hopefully we could get some good news by Dec / Jan

Yes, the waiting almost killed me, i thought it may lost or been returned but finally i got it.
