I think we need to ask the person who still sees background check in process, what he sees there, because it could be the case that CIC changed its way to reflect decision made message.

My background check is still listed as "in progress". The actually have not asked me yet for my PCC.

However, when i click on the question mark, it does read that "we have reached a final decision on your application".

Yes, it is extremely confusing... they should probably rectify that.

Seems that we'll keep waiting for a while still...

so background changes to Not applicable once its process is completed right ???

Fuck my background check also says not applicable and I asked one of my friends she says it says in review for her, she applied before me.

It took 2 months for me to link my application. So sometimes it may take longer, please don't worry at all.

Hey Guys, as you might have noticed that CIC updated the way it is reflecting information under MYCIC account.

But, did you notice the message change under MY CIC account?

On final decision box the text itself in it says "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

But when I click on question mark I see this

"We have reached a final decision on your application.
If your application is approved, we will send you instructions on what to do next.

This is pretty confusing, I wonder what you all are seeing when you click on that question mark?

I got a DECISION MADE and email Ready for Visa yesterday.

Visa Office......: Nova scotia/ ottawa
App. Filed.......: 22-04-2016
AOR Received.: 20-06-2016
Med's Upfront : 22-06-2016 (I have a travel abroad so I did before Medical request)
PCC requested: 13-10-2016 (I was asked sending a updated PCC because previous one would be expired ending of Oct. 2016)
Med's Received....: 14-11-2016
Background in progress back: 22-01-2017 (It has been "Background not needed" since 21-11-2016)
Decision made ....:06-03-2017
PPR...........:06-03-2017
Copr ...........: Soon
