I have to land in Toronto because there is no direct flight from my country to Montreal. My layover in Toronto to Montreal is 3 hours. I would love to do my landing in Montreal but I dont think it's possible in my case
I will land by myself. I dont have a spouse or any children. I do not have a job in Quebec yet. But my address has always been in Quebec (tax return and phone bills are sent to Quebec still)
I will only stay in Montreal for a month because I plan to work in Alberta for the summer, then move back to Montreal in August to start university. Do you think it would be a problem?

In my case, they didn't ask for my job letter or any income proof.

My Ecas status changed from In process to Decision Made...5-Feb-2017. only status only changed nothing Added new lines , last updated Medical have been recvd
When i can except PPR . MY VO is London .again PPR finger crossed.

Hi this is normal, in some cases they sent the email at the same time and in other cases could take one or two weeks to receive the passport request.
I want to say breathe ad stay calm lol, nice is you can, the true is keep checking the email will arrive soon, it was the same for most of the people here.

Hi guys, I do have a question that needs some help.

As the visa centre requested, I paid the RPRF online by credit card and mailed the receipt to the centre in Hong Kong. I checked on the courier website and the package has been received for more than a month. But, on the CIC website->Check your application status, I did not see any thing for this fee payment yet so that worried me a little bit.

So my question is, based on you guy's experience, does CIC actually consider such a thing as an "update" to be shown in "Check your application status"?

and doesnt mention any notice about the fees .
I am also wondering if they will change the status
To decision made then the passport request or
The passport request then the decision made .

VO doesn't make any update for receiving fees

My background check and eligibility are still in process although I have already received my passport request. Don't worry my timeline is just 3 weeks earlier than you and I got my PPR last week. I hope you will be getting it in next couple of weeks...Good Luck!

Hi everyone!

I received my AOR today. Im an inland applicant but I'm currently in Saskatchewan studying. My program will be finished in April. Is my being in Saskatchewan affect my QSW application? My plan is, after completion of my studies in April, I will move to Montreal.
