Anybody can clarify about the location of doing medical, is it required do in the same place under jurisdiction of the visa office or free to do in country of origin or other places.

you can take medicals exams anywhere in the world as long as the doctor is designated by the government of canada... this link is going to help

Call CIC monday morning.

I checked CIC website and there is only one call center number: 1-888-242-2100 (but only from within Canada). They are not showing any other telephone number from outside Canada!!!

3 months ago, I was out of Canada, and thought that I had not received AoR for my application (it turned out that it had arrived in my email inbox in March but I failed to notice that). In short, I was so tempted to call, and I found this number on this forum:

+1 613 944 4000 Ministry of Foreign Affairs

I called, and it worked.

Hi there ! when you get to the part where you can link your application to the account that you just created select : numero de demande & IUC enter those, leave country and city of birth blank and put 1 in the section where you are asked for the number of family members regardless of the number of people in your family . That worked for me !

Hello, CIC received my application on Oct.30,2015. I applied inside Canada. I paid for the RPRF on April.18. Till now no updates...Could you please share your friends' timeline? They apply for family or for single. Maybe Single file is faster than family file.

They (3 of my friends and they are individual as well as single) landed around the last week of July and their timeline is almost as same as me (maybe the difference is by a week earlier than me).

What do I do next?

Hi I have applied for federal stage after CSQ from India. My file was delivered 20 May and I still have not received my file number. I was wondering is this normal? I know few people who got their AOR within 45 days after they applied. But they all had applied before March. I was wondering if someone in same boat as me? And what are their thoughts?

Our application was received in early November and we didn't get AOR until early March, 4 months later. It's completely normal, I wouldn't worry about it

My lawyer filed federal application, I know my UCI number. Is the application number different for everyone or is the application number common for everyone as UCI number seems to be unique. How can i kink my application as I am unable to link my quebec skilled worker federal application
