Hey guys, just logged into my portal to see:

"Final decision
April 1, 2025 Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

Is this the elusive "FD" that everyone is talking about and should I expect P1 and P2 soon? If not, how long should I expect it to take from here on until the actual Final Decision?

Here is a breakdown of what I read in the portal on my end:

Review of eligibility
  • We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results
  • March 22, 2025 You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents
  • We do not need additional documents.
Interview
  • You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics
  • We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes. (Biometrics provided in late Feb 2025 and showing up in top right corner)
Background check
  • We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision
  • April 1, 2025 Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I have a similar timeline as you @Mirimiri (although I had to give the biometrics twice as they were deemed not enough good quality so that delayed some weeks), but I have the same message on april 1st. The only difference is that I have a review of additional documents ongoing, but it is only a wrong date thing so should be no issue and I guess we should receive it around the same time. I'll keep an eye on the timelines here!

It actually depends on people. I had my Final Decision on March 3rd. I am still waiting for my P1, and I am not the only one in that situation. Some have been waiting even longer.... It depends on several factors, like your file, agent, visa office, etc.

Yes, that's normal, I also "passed" the medical exam without actually doing it :)
I think it depends on your job, it's a "must-do" for certain professions, and for others, it's a formal step

Yes, that's what I figured too. It seems like a large number of people got this April 1st update and I'm wondering if it's not tied to the systems being downa. few days prior/a general internal operational shake up.

AoR - 13 Jan
Medical - 07 Feb
FD : 18 Feb 2025
P1: 18 Feb 2025 - Replied same day
P2: 19 Feb 2025 - Replied same day

Has anyone received their ECOPR recently for Feb month P2? I'm still waiting.

Does anyone know if they're currently processing applications from January 15-31, or have they started working on February submissions?
