If you don’t mind can I know how does an AOR look like ? Because my lawyer just told me I received my AOR+ BIOMETRIC INSTRUCTION LETTER.
but she never sent me AOR

2024/05/02 - Pre Arrival Letter & Medical Request
2024/05/06 - Medical done
2024/05/07 - Medical result sent to IRCC

Is this the first time you’ve given medicals ever?
Because I gave medicals 5 years ago for my study visa and I don’t know will they will be asking now again for PR
That’s nothing for most of us just email that says we received you application that you submit on XXXXX
Aor just basically
Acknowledgement of receipt you application. That’s means they generated the application number and start processing.
Just receiving application number is AOR.
You can see that number on your biometric letter. That’s start with EPXxxxxxxx

Also regarding the medicals…I already gave my medicals 5 years ago for my studies
Now do you think they’ll need it again for my PR?
Can’t say anything that will be depends on visa officer. Accepting old medical or not it’s totally on his/her discretion.
Update
10/12/2023 - PR application sent.
10/17/2023 - AOR email received, Request for documents (proof of partners citizenship), Request to link accounts, and request for Biometrics Payment.
10/17/2023 - Documents requested and Biometrics recite sent.
1/4/2024 - Request for Medical Examination.
1/9/2024 - Medical Exam complete, waiting for results.
1/13/2024 - Medical Exam Passed. -
3/25/2024 - Biometrics Requested,
3/25/2024 - Biometrics Booked.
4/2/2024 - Biometrics Done..
4/10/2024 - 1st Email received asking to confirm I'm still in Canada and that they will soon invite me to upload a picture of myself for the PR card.
5/3/2024 - 2nd Email received, confirmed my house address, that I was in Canada and send a passport photo for my PR card.
5/8/2024 - Confirmation of Permanent Residency approved, eCOPR downloaded.
Waiting for my PR Card so I can travel.

it's not my first time, I did one 8 years ago for my study permit which had expired before my pr application ofc
a friend of mine passed her pr medical with the exam she did 4 years ago. technically it has 5 years of validity I suppose.
wait and see what the officer would ask

Can I know when they will ask for medicals ?

Can I know how many weeks will it take for portal 1 after medicals?
- I did the medical last Saturday. I called the clinic they are waiting for the X-Ray report they have not submitted yet.
- It seems about one month.
