Hi there,
I’m an outland applicant and that’s my timeline:
Application sent: Aug 08 2019
Application received: Aug 12 2019
AOR: Feb 11 2021
Biometrics: Apr 26 2021
Pre-arrival letter: May 03 2021
Police certificates: May 25 2021

And since then I haven’t heard from them regarding the medical exams.

Since they are prioritizing inland applicants, what if I go there as visitor and change my address into a Canadian one, do you think it’s worth it to try? Has anyone done that?
Hi Ch.carp1991 , any updates on your application?Medicals?PPR?

Hi all, here's my timeline

federal application sent: december 18th, 2018
medical passed: march 22, 2021
security passed (according to MP): june 3, 2021

Heard nothing since then. About to be three years total now. I live in Montreal and have my MP's office looking into it but they can't do anything other than report whether there are any issues with the file (there don't seem to be). Webform inquiries of course get nowhere, GCMS notes had nothing of interest, lawyers advice just to wait because it's just final confirmation left and not much they can do to help. Any ideas on what I can do? Or at least what to expect?
are you an inland applicant?

I applied in Oct 2019 and got AOR in April-2021

After that nothing,

MP's assistant every month updated me with no news

so nothing at all

Totally frustrated and depressed

all 2020 appicants got therir PR 's
Yes, and I applied in Dec 2018 so I have been waiting even longer. Really bad situation.

By the way, general question: Has anyone been able to get in touch with them on the phone?? None of the menu options lead to an agent for me.

Hi nimstk, Nothing so far, last was pre-arrival service in June 2021, nothing after that, no medical or anything. Sent webform twice in one in August and another in October but no response to any, my agents requested GCSM notes last month so waiting to see if that gets responded. How about you? Did you receive medical?
no medicals yet, you can see my updated status in my signature

I see some start of April's 2021 are getting AR. I am very anxious and excited.
Keep calm and wait for it. Your envelope will be opened. I was like that also. When all december getting AOR and I wasn't, so I was anxious but got excited at the same time.

Somehow my eligibility and background is still in review for me but hopefully everything goes well....at least I got pre-arrival letter.

Hello guys i had a question about the PR.
I contacted the federal deputy and said that:
The initial verifications to ensure the application is complete was finalized in September, and you were sent an acknowledgement of receipt letter. The application was then transferred to an officer. On October 21, 2021 the officer sent you an email inviting you to link your application to your online account. Has this been done?
As i have a representative she reply to my email saying:
I send email 2021-09-22 informing you that we received an AOR for your application. IRCC sends a generic email for each applicant informing us that a file can be linked to our representative portal however there is no obligation to do so. Regarding linking profiles, IRCC has been experiencing technical issues on their portal for months so linking profiles have been very challenging to do and sometimes cannot be done at all.
Is this normal?
Should we need to link the account ?
If officer request something they normally send a email saying that is a new message to my profile, am i right?
Thank you
