Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I received a letter last month with this title:
"THIS IS A REMINDER EMAIL - PLEASE READ EACH SECTION CAREFULLY TO SEE IF IT APPLIES TO YOUR APPLICATION..."

anybody get any update who received this letter?

I received the same email last month, pay the RPRF and sent updated Schedule A - Address and Travel History. No news from then. What am I expecting next? PPR?

Hi julietkq,

My understanding is that the the time is counted from the date of your medicals. You have 1 year from the date of your medicals to land in Quebec. So when you get your visa, the date is not counted from the approval date of the visa but from the date you did the medicals because the medicals are only valid for 1 year.

I need to go to Vancouver this Nov for one month as part of my MBA program. If I have "decision made" and visa before that, can i still go to Vancouver as tourist and I will land in Montreal next year Jun as PR?

Hi friends....

I got my CSQ in December 2015, applied for PR in January 2016 and received AOR in March 2016.

I have worked in Saudi Arabia from 2008 to 2012 and then moved to India. For the PR application, I am required to submit Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from all countries I have stayed. As I left Saudi before 3 years, As far as I know, it is very difficult for me to obtain PCC from Saudi because the Saudi Arabia authority issues PCC only to current residents of Saudi Arabia. Also, in the official Canadian Immigration website (www.cic.gc.ca), it is mentioned that the applicants doesn’t required to submit Saudi Arabia PCC if he is not a current resident of Saudi Arabia.

My immigration agent told me that Saudi PCC must be produced and they would surely ask and they would give me only 30 days time to submit the same.

It would be helpful if you could share some information about Saudi PCC.

If I couldn’t produce the same will they reject me or will it affect the processing time…. :'(

still waiting waiting patiently for the return envelope with maple leaf stamp.

I believe that all stages of this immigration process we have to exercise all the paitence that we can find.

I am still waiting for my passports. The Ottawa VO finished a lot of applications lately, so I bet that's why they might take a bit longer to return them.
