I believe proof of funds is to be shown at immigration counter after landing . Correct me if I'm wrong, and may I know what's the minimum amount of funds to be shown?490 CAD if I am not wrong. Check this - https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/order.do?lang=en&category=8.
Proof of Funds is only needed while applying for CSQ. However, I on a safer side did submit proof of funds along with my federal application.
If so, then I paid for my whole family while I applied to CIC. Which means I don't have to pay any fees when I land at Montreal right? I just wanna ask you, we pay fees once to Quebec for CSQ and once for CIC to get PR , am I right ? And is there anywhere else we have to pay fees ?Yes.

It's not mandatory to demonstrate, but I agree that you should be in a position to demonstrate if asked for. You also need to declare if you are carrying more than 10k CAD cash. For latest funds needed, you will have to check MIDI's website.I believe proof of funds is to be shown at immigration counter after landing .
