Hi Guys,

I have submitted my Federal application just recently few days ago (02/20/2016).

May you please guide me the process related to Federal Application. I have send my federal application to Sydney, Nova Scotia.

My question is related to processing time. How long will it be before I receive an AOR? Is this processing time vary geographically just like CSQ as processing time for Asia is quite long I believe (44 months as per last update).

Is there any way to check status of my application online?

Next step will be to receive an AOR or medical request and what about rest of the processes?

I sent the application on Oct. 13, 2015 from Montreal, and it was received in Sydney on Oct. 16, 2015.

But, I have not received any update yet. Worried.

My friend, I thought we are the similar situation, it has been more than 3 months and there is still no update, I wish to find someone to disscuse this, I am very worried.

Hello All,
Need your help.
Today I have received an email from qubec and they r asking me to send 'declaration of a candidate or candidate exercising profession or trade regulated forms'. They have provided me a copy of declaration form which i have to fill and send them a signed copy.
This is a second time document update request I have received from qubec. First time i have been asked to provide tax documents and to update appendixB. And this time they have asked to submit declaration form. can u please suggest me what should i do? at what stage i could be?

it was 09-14 which CIC received them, from Montreal.

Not yet, I think it takes near 5 months nowadays within Canada, they finish outside Canada faster than inside, we have nothing to do just waiting
I will keep you posted once I get the file number and good luck for all

If you are applying from within Canada
Should not take more than 4 months.

Permanent Resident cards - Yes (new PR card)
you can see it takes 39 days now

Once you recieve your AOR, in the email, they will give the application number and with this you go to:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp

My application was received in NS in Sep30th. Still waiting for AOR.
Everytime I call CIC they don't have any information. Always say to wait.
