Yes next step the police clearance request if not submitted upfront... i got RPRF and police clearance at the same time...
after paying and submitting police certificates , your final request will be passports. expect it to happen by April/ May.

I have some questions and I appreciate all of your input.

1. I received my AOR via email on Dec 11, 2015 but I can't find my application process on Ecas till this day. What should I do?? (I'm a bit freaked out right now)

2. When will I received Medical request and police clearance after I got my AOR which was on Dec 11, 2015?

Please help me guys, my anxiety level is reaching to the peak right now.

Why some applications go faster than the other with the same visa office? I applied on August, received my AOR on Dec but since then I haven't heard any news. I can't check my update online because they can't find my file, but I did receive an application number. I'm so worried. What's going on?!

I tried to call CIC office but all they can say is to wait. :'( :-[

I sent a note to CIC to enquire status on PR application submitted on 2nd Oct 2015 VO Ottawa and received the following response.

Sir, Madam,
Thank you for contacting Citizenship and Immigration Canada. I am pleased to follow up on your request:
We have received your application and it will be processed according to the date it was received.

Anyone knows if that means that we should receive the AOR soon? Thanks for your help in advance.

This means that your application is in the queue to be checked for eligibility and if all forms are complete then CIC will send you the AOR (file number) and the application will be in process .. usually AOR is received between 3 - 4 months from submission date.. If you applied on the 2 nd of October then it is about time to get the AOR (it is a matter of couple of days))..

Its not your fault don't worry..besides you've got your file number from them so its proof that you've submitted your application correctly!
