Hi Guys,

Finaly my De Facto Spouse and I have decided to lodge our CSQ application next week, we have prepared all required documents but i would like to ask your help in couple of things before i send the full set to damascus:

1- Do we need to take the French Exam and attache the test result or it's something can be done later?

2- What do they mean by ''Documentary proof that your work experience was acquired legally: record of your contribu-tions to social security (CNSS, CNAS or equivalent) or proof of exemption from paying social security premiums. The documents furnished must be originals issued by the agency'' -------- we are currently residing and working in Qatar, Income is exempted from any tax... we don't pay tax for salaries as per law.

**** Any one have applied from Qatar or GCC ''Gulf Area'' could give a hand and help?

Hi Mef,

We are on the same boat. I'm currently gathering all my documents for CSQ. I'm from Philippines currently working in Dubai, UAE. We don't pay taxes in this country as well. I guess, a contract of employment with payslips or pay stubs as what they call it in Canada is sufficient.

I might be wrong. That's why I'm also interested to know the answers to your questions.

Are you going to submit your bank statement along with your initial forms as well?

as far as i know they dont require bank statements with the initial forms. if you guyz have any info regrading this, please do share.

any luck on the above? what did you guys submit as proof of social security exemption from the UAE..can anyone please help urgently?
