I just received my GCMS notes that I ordered on the 18th of feb - It looks as if the last time they looked at my application was on the 5th of Feb, and it was transferred at the end of january. Now i think it's likely it will be sometime in april or may . My security changed from not started to blank.

On the 20th of Jan, it says that file was reviewed at CPP-Ottawa in my notes. I assume that security is in progress at the moment. I ordered a new set of GCMS notes today.

Hi Everybody, I got my permanent residence visa stamped and CPR back this morning. Plan to do the landing tomorrow, can I just drive to the US border and come back via the POE. Anyone did this before? Please advise

Also, are they very careful about the money part? How much money we should bring with us?

Should I print out all of our bank statement? Or just to show them the bank statements which satisfies the minimal living fee for 2 people for three months ?

I know one thing if u have personal effects furniture jewelry in your original country ‎you can bring in duty free.

Hi Everybody, I got my immigration visa stamped and CoPR back this morning. Plan to do the landing tomorrow, can I just drive to the border with my husband and leave the car at somewhere near the border? We can walk to US (our US visas were expired on January 2014) and come back via the POE. Anyone did this before? Please advise!!!

Also, are they very careful about the money part? How much money we should bring with us?

I am planning to land this weekend also, why would you want to park your car before the border you can just drive there

About my first GCMS note:

My primary office has been changed to CPP-Ottawa, and the secondary to SIO on Dec 24th. It was inverse before.

In a more precise browsing I found some differences, and maybe one of them is noticeable.
In HISTORY > ACTIVITY part there are two more "Activities".
In my previous note, there were 3 "Security Screening" parts. "New Value" for the oldest one is "Not Started" and 2 others are empty.
In the new notes there are 2 new "Security Screening" parts. The "New Value" for the older is empty again, and the letter "I" is written for the newest one.

I think you should be hearing back from them shortly with PPR. It appears the christmas holidays have slowed it down by a month.

I'm tempted to send in my scanned ID page now before they request it because i'm from a visa exempt country but perhaps I should wait until they request it so I will know my timeline better.
