what about eligibility ? is it passed ?QC said:I received the GCMS results.
As I know:
Criminality check is finished.
My primery office was CIO and secondary was CPP till the end of Criminality (but I received the RPRF requuest from CPP before that). Almost one month after Criminality passed, the primary office has changed to CPP and secondary to CIO.
I can see the "security screening" in "subactivity" part of security in "activity" part. But the status is "Not Started" in "Application" part. I think it should be changed to "in Progress" and then "Passed" (Like Medical and Criminality). So it may be better to apply for another GCMS at the end of FEB.

What about you? Do you have also "security screening"? And what is your last status for "security" field name in Histroty > Application part? "Not Started" or "InProgress"
Congrats keepthefaith. But your timeline doesn't seem to be correct. Would you please write the correct one? Finally received our passport request. After remedical because 1st med exam expired and police cert expired, frustrating application but finally we have it.
flipper said:Hi everyone,
Recently I applied under the PEQ for a CSQ. For the evidence of my French level, I provided a transcript of an exam I took in June when I completed a French course. I was told by the counsellor at the college where I took it that it was advanced intermediate level. (By the way this course is recognised by the Minister for Education.)
3 weeks after I mailed the application, I got a reply saying that my French level wasn't high enough, and subsequently my application has been refused and my file closed, and that I should apply under a different category. Turns out the course was equivalent to B1 and not B2 as required.
What gets me is that they didn't give me a chance to provide further evidence.. I thought they would give me 60 days to do that at the very least!
Has this has happened to anyone else? I want to take a recognised test (I am pretty confident I am at level B2), but I am not sure whether they will 'reopen' my file, or whether I would have to apply again (if I can??)... and of course, whether I'll have to pay the fee again. Haven't called Quebec immigration yet due to the holidays..
Please, if anyone has any information I would be so grateful!
hi, which french document you were submit before? which level of french? can you give me a little information about your french course inschool? because I am study in school also, hopefully, i will not follow your way. thank youflipper said:Ok thanks for that! The only problem I'm finding is that apparently it takes 4 weeks to get the results of the evaluation, and tests tend to be held once a month, plus you have to preregister for a few weeks in advance. So probably won't make the 60 days. Also, there don't seem to be many places in Quebec City that give the test.
Thanks again
