Apparently my letter was just waiting and should be sent very soon, so probably next week! ;D

I got an email from CIC too telling me if i use express post to send in passport, I should be able to get it back with CoPR within 3 weeks :)

Hi Friends,

Need some information & suggestion...

My timeline looks like:
CSQ - PEQ...........: 2013/07/26
Federal Application: 2013/08/19
AOR & Medical Req: 2013/10/02
ECAS -Med update: 2013/10/31
In Process...........: ???? - I see some application move to "In Process" 2-3 weeks after Medical is updated in ECAS, is it a reliable time frame ?

RPRF..................: Paid in Advance with the Application

Also, Please suggest - If its feasible to continue staying in Canada without a Job (On a TRV) while application is under process... coz my WP expires in a month, I can't find a job due to year end... and can't extend my WP without a job offer in QC.

If I move anywhere else... my application will be transferred to respective Visa office which will cause delays, If I stay here without a job.. would it affect my application as it is under.. QC Skilled worker Category.

Any suggestion are welcome !

Thanks!

From my exprerience in this forum and other there is 2 ways your application can go, 1- sydney is your primary office, your status go in process after 5-6 months and decision made after 5+ months, 2- ottawa is your primary office, your status go in process around a year later and decision made 4 weeks later

Good luck

Where do you guys see the date that the medical results have been received? In my ECAS it just says medical results have been received but no date.

Most of us check so often that we can tell on which day the line appears, but ecas doesn't tell us specifically :)

Hi Folks, first post here but I've been reading your threads for sometime. I think you guys have built a wonderful support system here, so I would like to make my contribution by sharing my experience.

RPRF Request...........: 2013.10.10

Hi Joshua1, you are really fast!!! I mean your ECAS changes constantly~~seems to be a good sign for you!!

Would you like to let me know how you verify this:"in the process for further processing confirmed by case processing agent"? ;)

Thank you in advance.

Hello QC_PEQ_Montreal,

CIO had sent me a request to send police certificates, after I responded that they were already sent with my application, I received a reply from CIO saying they had forwarded my response to Ottawa. Couple days later I got a reply from processing agent confirming that my assertion and that my file was already in process.

your ecas, is it in process ?

Yes since Sept 23, however It was already being processed since the correspondence in August.

Police certificate in form of paper file is sent to CPP Ottawa even if your file is in CIO. In Process status only activate when your file egligibility is considered as passed. By any chance, do you know where your paper file is? (It is normally in GCMS notes)

My file was sent to CCP for "further review". I don't have my GCMS notes. Isn't eligibility a given with a CSQ (PEQ), in that it's already dealt with by Quebec? I think Security check and Medicals are the core components of the Federal PR process (they take most of the time).

No. Eligibility is a part of federal process, in which you have to sign schedule 5 and prove that u intend to live in Quebec. This is done after med exam, security and criminal marked as pass (for CIO office applicant. Im not sure about the cpp applicant). Med exam is done by a department in ottawa also. Im not sure about the other 2. Mine only requires rcmp and they do it themselves. I dont send any police certificate. When ur file is in process on ecas (assume it up to date), your file has passed all the requirement and collecting dirt somewhere waiting. Gluck
