Step 1. apply for federal ( submit Sponsorship + PR application ) same time
Step 2. ones Sponsorship Approval received PR file will process. at this stage Applicant have to apply for CSQ. ones you got CSQ submit scan copy via Email OR Webform to your Local VO. please check Flowchart and Timeline to get better idea

No update.

A new entry up just mentioned about reasking of documents by MIDI got me scared as his file was submitted just 2 to 3 days after me in December.

Any idea anyone got any CSQ letter from 14th November onwards?

Hi All,

Invitation received on April 27th 2019
Main Application Delivered on June 07 2019
Additional Document requested on September 12th 2019 --> submitted on September 18th 2019
I was able to link my application with the CIC website
Additional Document requested on January 3rd 2020 --> submitted on January 9th 2020

After submitting the documents I did not receive any updates..therefore I called them a couple of times and they confirmed that my application is complete and is under process but I have not heard anything yet.

I have not still received the sponsor approval from the federal government, was wondering if there is anyone in the same boat ? I am guessing I will need a letter to apply for the CSQ/MIDI ?

Any advice would be really helpful.

Finally complete. Due to Covid-19, PPR stage bypassed, in Canada PA’s go to COPR. Mailing off today for PR Card. Just a note, have been waiting for PPR for nearly 3 months, 1 month before Covid. Sent webform 1 week ago.
Big thank you to all who have contributed on this journey & a big thanks @robertp for helping out on the Quebec forum. Good luck to all.

Update for anyone receiving COPR during covid-19 & applies for Quebec Medicare card. During this time, you must call to open your file & have the forms sent to you. A picture is not required for 1 year as the service centres are not functioning & the 3 month wait has been waived, it will start as soon as they receive your forms. SIN # was an easy online application with 3 documents to upload.
