Quebec loan system

Hello, I am becoming Canadian soon and I would like to take one year full time course at Montreal.

I don't have income and I would like to apply for loans. If I have receive loans during my study( let say 12 months).

How much is the repayment of this loan? Do I have to pay back the whole amount?

I am looking your suggestions on this issue.

I'm not sure I understand your first question but will try to answer it. If you are approved for a loan then you will get a loan with a bank in Quebec at the interest rates they offer. Typically student loans are interest free until you finish your studies.

Yes - you will have to re-pay the entire amount of the loan as well as any interest.

Scylia, I think you understand my question right.. For Quebec, low income families with one person is around 850 per month.

After I finish course and if I cant payback the amount. Bank will charge me interest rate?

Also, do you know about the grants?

Yes - you will be charged interest by the bank once you finish the course.

I don't know anything about grants.
