1. I have applied for Quebec Investor Program will it compulsory to live in Montreal after I received permanent residence or I can move to other provinces like Toronto (Ontario) Canada?.


2. I have applied for Quebec Investor program. My Children are studying in the University after receiving Permanent Residence Card if the study in one of the universities in USA will there stay during their studies will be accounted towards permanent residence or Citizenship (i.e 730 or 1060)?

1. Yes - it's compulsory that you live in Quebec. You committed to investing in this province by applying through this immigration stream.

2. No - these days will not count towards either PR or citizenship residency requirements.

As I got information from to many lawyers in Canada & abroad , they are saying you can live either in Montreal or any other place in Canada , but just you have to land in Montreal first .
No, these days will not be count that's for sure.

And I am sure you can live anywhere in Canada after landing in the Montreal, but if you applying in Federal investor class, then you don't have permission to live in Quebec.

They have closed and I hope they settle backlog, those who applied in 2011 or before and didn’t receive any call from QIIP, Please share if there is any development

Any one get AOR after submite the file to fedarel along with CSQ and request for PCC or MR ??
