This link is only relevant for applications received by CIC as of the end of the business day tomorrow. After that - new rules.

The new rules officially come into place this Thursday. As explained in my previous post, the new rules raise the citizenship text exemption age to 65.

See the Citizenship section of this forum for the many discussions on the new citizenship rules.

Alright... So, CIC is saying that now, everyone must stay at least 183 days IN Canada ... every calendar year.

I found one post regarding calendar year by anil04_10

Here's an example of how to calculate your residency days as per calendar year.
Suppose you landed on 1st October 2012 (means 92 days in 2012) 2012 92 days (year not considered < 183 days)
You didn't go out of Canada in 2013 (means 365 days in 2013) 2013 365 days (1st year considered > 183 days)
You didn't go out of Canada in 2014 (means 365 days in 2014) 2014 365 days (2nd year considered > 183 days)
You didn't go out of Canada in 2015 (means 365 days in 2015) 2015 365 days (3rd year considered > 183 days)
You didn't go out of Canada till 30th Sept 2016 (means 273 days in 2016)* 2016 273 days (4th year considered > 183 days)
TOTAL - 1460 days (4 years with minimum 183 days)

By the Grace of Allah Almighty, finally after a loooooong wait of 88 days, I received PR cards of all family members today. Looks like PR cards were printed three days ago. Envelope is white in color (kindly see below).

Yesterday, I called CIC regarding status of my PR card and agent told me that PR card were posted at new address (which I changed in June). However, I received my PR cards at old address.

For anyone who is waiting for their PR cards, you should look out for an envelope which looks like this:

My Timeline:

Visa Issued : 17 NOV 2014
Landing Date : 12 APR 2015
PR Card Received : 09 JUL 2015

Biggest advantage is ... Federal Investor program is terminated, whereas Quebec investor program is still alive

You can look at the fees table here : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

Here's a link of CIC New Delhi's Fees in INR : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/inFORMation/fees/result.asp?countrySelect=IN&lob=inv

But, I'm not sure if it's called Landing fees. If you are looking for Right of Permanent Residence Fees (RPRF), then it's $490 for each applicant. (equal to ₹24,000)

I have received my CSQ from Quebec provincial since October 2014 and then the application to Federal is November 2014. No matter I have not receive the file number until now but immigration fee by CIC is deducted on March 2015.

With my friend saying they have already passed interview, taking CSQ and get file number after 3-4 months. Afterwards, they only spend not more than totally 8-13 months to finish ME and criminal check and finally landed to Canada Quebec.

So, I want to enquiry how often the process time spend after the CSQ/file number issue? Many thanks to your feedback!

Seems like you have made identical multiple posts in various threads.

Your application is fairly new. These investor applications usually take around 12 to 24 months, generally, to process.

Kindly be patient and you will eventually get a response from them. What is your VO (visa office)?
