HI Seniors Please please help me....

I have done my bachelors degree in hotel and tourism management (specialised in food and beverage service)3 years course in India,Yes u will get 6 points for your bachelor . link is given below
http://www2.publicationsduquebec.gouv.qc.ca/dynamicSearch/telecharge.php?type=7&file=GPI_3_1_INDE.pdf
And i have 4 years wor experience in food & beverage services from two five star hotels in Mumbai. If it is more then 4 year then u will get 8 points or less then 4 then 6 points i have seen food & beverage service 1 year diploma get 6 point ,but no points for bachelors degree.

Do you think they will consider my specialisation in degree will consider as equivalent to diplomaNo they need technical diploma holder after 10+2 not degree holders so i am afraid u will not get any extra point for your area of training as I have done food & beverage services all 3 years of my degree and did 6 months industrial training in this field as well.

Your advice would be appreciable. Many thanks. hope your reply.

Thanx StillHope with your response !!! .. One more question .... Do we have to take up the course from Alliance Francaise or can we do it from any other institute ? At the time of interview, will it be for both of us or it is only for principle applicant ?? Please guide !!!

U can take a course in any institute but preferably go to Alliance Francaise. yes for both of u, but as a principal applicant u have to work more hard on french. if your spouse also can learn with u then it is very good. Because they conduct both of u interview not only one.

I do have a question regarding to IETLS exam.
I did my Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Ireland and also Msc in Computer science from UK, also worked in USA for at least 1 year.

Do i still need to take IELTS? If not do i need any supporting documents to prove that?

Yes you can easily reach to 57 points by learning french . Alliance francias conducts classes and exams in their centres. Google alliance francias in your city and contact them for details.

Good luck

No need to appear in IELTS , a letter from you institutions or employer indicating that your study or your job was or is in English is sufficient to secure 6/6 points. GOODLUCK

Hi StillHope,

Got a question for you,When we apply for Quebec Immigration, can i produce a letter from Alliance franchise or the institute from were i am taking a french proficiency course or classes, will the office consider this, if yes, while filling the form should i select "BASIC" and if No, what should i select in the application...

If i submit the application without the certification supporting document, will there be a delay in processing time..

Please guide !!!!

Thank You
Regards

If i submit the application without the certification supporting document, will there be a delay in processing time..I dont think so, but quebec websites said if you send all documentary proof your file process quickly but i never seen any one (Its my personal opinion)

Mostly everything depends upon your area of training , if it is in priority then u will get interview with in 3-6 months other wise 6-12 months
Please guide !!!!

Any question just ask , hope this helps u

Thank You

Thank you still hope for the quick reply !!! From the point evaluation which you did last time for me, i got 55 and i need 57 to apply, french proficiency would make it to 59, so if i attach a alliance franchise receipt will i be short of points and will they keep the file on pending until i get the DELF A1.

Will they consider area of training for principal applicant ( in my case Bsc - computer science ) or my spouse ( MBA -Finance and Marketing ).

Sorry if i bug u up with my questions, hope u understand...

Thank You
Regards
