Quebec Immigration - Financial Self-Sufficiency

The Financial Self-sufficiency criterion is one of the ten criteria for which points are awarded under the Quebec immigration selection system.

One point is awarded under the Financial Self-sufficiency criterion of Quebec immigration. This criterion is absolutely essential and stipulates a minimum funds requirement. Unless the 1 point is awarded under the Financial Autonomy criterion, the application will be automatically refused.

Points Financial Self-sufficiency

1 point Making of a contract (Cutoff score =1)
1 point Maximum

Hello Visaexpert,

This is M.... wait for it..... MASSIVE information that you've shared here. :o Thanks a ton. I think your occupation must be "Changing lives". ;)

I have a query and I need your valuable insight on this one.

I'm getting my application ready for QSW in a month.
For Contract of Financial Self sufficiency, I have Fixed deposits which I think qualify as liquid assets. Now to get these approved I would need a Chartered Accountant's Certificate.

My question: What does this CA CERTIFICATE look like? Any recommened format that has been pre approved?
(So that I can give this to my CA and he can validate it)

Many thanks !!

You don't need to prove your money during the application process. All you have to do is sign and submit the Contract Respecting Self Sufficiency and you're good to go. You'll need to prove your money in the bank during the interview (if for interview).

Boss, question..:)) under education, will i mark X sa lahat? since wla pa naman akong equivalency..

No need for educational assessment in applying for QSW.

Please use English in this thread. Thanks!

Try the major banks in the Philippines. They know what to do. Just show them the form that specifies what is needed in the application for FSW.

Hello bosschips,

Thanks a ton for your prompt reply, one less document to arrange for at this level ( heaves a sigh of relief) ! Also, do I need to give the PCCs at the time of CSQ application? Or are these PCCs also to be presented at a latwr stage (time of interview/ security check?) I would like to know before hand as I've stayed in France from June 2012 to to December 2013. Presently I'm back in India. So I'll need PCCs for India and France correct?

Many thanks in advance.

I think that it is stated in the application that you will need PCCs from countries in which you've stayed for 6 months or more. Please consult the document checklist regarding this. It is written somewhere there. Good luck with your application. :-)

Bosschips,

Ok great, shall do that! Gracias. :) Would you have any important links to websites to share in order to look for jobs in Quebec?, I'm already consulting their official website for immigration employment. Havent found anything serious yet. Thank you.

No you don't. Police certificates are only required at the Federal Stage not CSQ.
