Hello everyone,
I was wondering, can I send a "Change to the application" form to my application before receiving a file number or reference number?
Thank you

Actually, you can update your file before getting a file number. With your dob and name, they will find the file. But it's safer to update the file with file number.

Attention Please!!!!!!!!!

1 st next April, new rules on the maximum number of requests that will be received by the Department will enter into force and be applicable until 31 March 2015.
The Department will receive a maximum of 6,500 applications for a selection certificate under the regular Federal Skilled Worker Program.
By limiting the number of requests received, the Department may treat a greater number of pending requests and reduce processing times.

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/fr/informations/modalites-gestion.html

Indeed, this is a good news for previous applicants whose applications are pending. Because for the new term they have reduced to 6500 skilled worker applications from 20000 of 2013-14.

They are interested as quoted above to treat the pending files and reduce processing time.

Hope for the best!!!

Good day Visa Expert,

Please i have questions to ask and i hope someone will be able to guide me on it.

I have a friend who submitted her application 5 to 6 months ago before mine, i had a privilege of talking to her and she also told me she is having the same problem as mine. She has not been able to get any feedback from Quebec after sending her application.

My questions are:

1. How can an application without AOR and file number be followed up?

Thanks,
Remigius

Dear seniors,

I have something I would like someone to help me on.
I am a nurse and my application for Quebec was sent on October 16, 2013 and marked received on October 22, 2013. Some of my friends who lodged with me had received their acknowledgement written in French, I have been expecting to receive the same but no letter or e-mail has been sent to me by Quebec. May I know if there is a way or a link to contact Quebec Government for follow up?

Any help from anyone will be highly appreciated

hi everyone. im new here. I'm from Philippines but currently working in the middle east as a nurse. I submitted my application last sept 2013 and received my AOR last jan.2014. When i checked my AOR on the second page BIQ hong kong was written. does that mean I will have my interview in Hong Kong in the future even though im in the middle east because I thought all middle east applicants will have there interview in Abu dhabi. On my application, my present address is my middle east address. Do they schedule the venue of interview based on your present address or your place of orgin? Thank you very much to those who would care to give an immediate reply... :)

Finally I got my AOR today. I have the same doubt as pinoy_ofw86 has. It's written as BIQ New York for me. What does it mean ? What is BIQ ?

Dear Pinoy & Giri,

For interview they will communicate you. Because its too much time for process our file. Still Oct -2010 onward asian country file is pending. So as of now dont take tense about unwanted topic.

Hi All,
