I don't understand.... why do you need to calculate any points for your federal file? as far as i know the calculation is done only from Quebec side till you get your CSQ... after that...you open a file on the federal level to do the security check and medical and get the the visa issued.... no points are being granted on the federal level for quebec applicants...

Hi KianaK - if you do the calculation on Excel... your age at 30/Jan/2013 will be 35.5 which means you will not get 16 points for age...

BTW, why dont you wait for your federal file??? Quebec immigration takes 26 month since you receive the AOR!

Sir
as It has taken more than one year from my AOR for federal & No news so I am hopeless &
decide try another way , I mean Qubec , But I need 16 points for my age, That my total points willbe 58 & I can apply but If
I get less than 16 points , for example 14 points , I have just 56 points & can't apply. :'( :'( :'(

So your email made me more hopeless because , I thought I can get 16 points for my age :'( :'( :'( ??? ??? >:( >:( >:(

Hi All,

Anyone received interview invite for NY office? I got a letter that said I am on short-list for the interview but never heard anything after that!

Hello Everyone,

I have already applied for CSQ PR visa(Skill immigration). I have placed my file through agent in Dec,2012 for CSQ selection. Now I am waiting for their reply.

Can anyone please know me the current status of success ratio?

My profile is as under,

Education : B.Sc(Computer Application & Information Technology) + M.Sc(Computer Application & Information Technology) [Total 5 Years]
Experience : 4 Years in Web Development and Designing.
IELTS : S - 6, L - 6
French : A1 is on going. I will do A2 after completion of A1.

I already collect 49 Points and I had applied as a single.

Now, I have couple of questions,

1) To collect more 6 points(to make total 55 Points for single candidate), how much score I need to do in A1 and A2 ?
2) If I collect 55 points and I will get PR from quebec province and If I want to move to other province like Toronto, how many years I need to stay in quebec ?

Please reply me asap.

Thanks,
Dhaval

For the Quebec Skilled Worker (currently open and accepting applications), applicants must:

Obtain at least 49 points on a 57-point grid;
Have at least a high school degree;
Have a degree or diploma in one of 110 areas of training/fields of study

Do you need to write A1 and A2? i think you just have to write one out of the two....if you want to have more mark then you need to write A2 .....listening 3 point, and speaking 3 point...total 6 point...
