stillhope what do you think is the difference between an applcation with french exam and non..
do you think interview will be waived? like you get 51 points including 2 points for the french exam.. (excluding the adaptability which is 4-6 points) will you be still given a schedule for an interview? cuz I am "thinkin" about taking e TEFAQ next month, and will have to lodge my papers end of november.. though my decision is not final yet, ... what do you think? because i have only completed my 100 hours and i am not enrolling for the 3rd module which is another 50 hours.. but i continue to learn french..like reading and reviewing the lessons in class and learning online..
My documents are almost complete now i just have to review everything... without my french i get 49 points. So i was thinkin about takin the french exam before i lodge it or not... ;) i tell u one thing without adaptability point we had 65 points but still we faced interview. so it is not guarantee that u will not face interview even u have 55 points. but if u r learning that is good sigh so keep it up and learn french.

good luck

stillhope. thnx for your reply. i have one more question and i think this will be the last as i'm almost done with the preps. i have done the CV and written a covering letter in french explaining the 'weaknesses' in my application ( bad B1 listening score, a gap in my CV etc) why quebec and stuff...now... do i send this letter typed or hand written. i read on the immigration website that it's not customary to do hand written letters in quebec but i was leaning towards just doing a hand written one. have you any experience with this? if not, for what it's worth, what would be your instincts? kindly let me know and i think this is the last time i'll bother you lol (no promises).

Tnx for all the help stillhope!

i think they are totally stupid peoples working there. Did they tell why they will not consider my MBA. They clearly said we will count your last degree not first and MBA you did after your BCOM so definitely they will consider. i give u example i did pharmacy and then B.sc in chemistry and then MBa, could u tell me is it any relation with my studies They give me points on the basis of MBA not B.sc chem and Pharmacy. so if they consider my MBA why not yours.

Regarding IELTS if u prove your studies was in English in Your MBA and u r working in English speaking environment then i don't think so they will ignore all the proofs. But be careful if your french is not good then u have to give your interview in English and if u lie on the documents and they will not found that your English is good then u will be in trouble. If u r confident that your english is good then no need to sit on the exam just send the letters from the university and from employers which are sufficient.

Hi still hope

I am very confused about my eligibility for quebec program. I would be thankful to you if you could answer few questions.

Following are my details

1- Age = 26
2- Experience = 3.5 Years ( textile merchandising)
3- Qualification = 1 year MBA (finance & investment management) from london & 4 years Bsc in textile sciences
4- Ielts = 6.0 overall
5- French = Taking classes

Q1) Am i eligible to apply for quebec?

Q2) Can i score points under area of training ? I have checked finance & investment management is not there however business administration is there but that is in bachelors..i could not find anything for masters.or is it just for bachelors ?

Q3) If i am eligible When do i need to submit my bank statement and how much money do i need to show for how long being a single applicant?

Q4) Can i live and work in any other canadian state after 3 to 4 months in quebec?

I would appreciate your help

Hi....seeking help from STILLHOPE or anybody who can help...

I am from Bangladesh and I am about to submit my application for CSQ as Skilled Worker. Please help me calculate my scores:

(1) TRAINING:
Completed Bachelors of Business Administration (Full time; 4 years). Major - Finance, Minor - Marketing; Primary language of instruction - English
Currently studying MBA (about to complete 2nd semester, 1st year)

(2) EXPERIENCE:
Working full time for 22 months now.
Position - Officer, Sales and Service Quality Assurance, Retail Banking and Wealth Management, HSBC Bangladesh
I'm not sure which NOC code I fall into. I guess it would be Other Financial Officers (1114) right? Do I have to mention the NOC code anywhere in the CSQ application?

(3) AGE:
23

(4) Marital Staus:
Single

(5) LANGUAGE:
English - Advanced (IELTS score - 8 )
French - Completed DALF A1 in Sep,11 and passed. Yet to receive the scores

(6) Financial Self Sufficiency:
Sufficient.
Do I need to submit any bank certificate/statement. If its statement, will 3 months' statement do?

Please help! I am trying for it all by myself and I'm so confused! :(
