Quebec Immigration French Mandatory under new rules

Hello There,

I like to know that do French test score is mandatory under new rules if out points is satisfy without French score?

Case is :

B.E in Computer Engineering
2.4 years of experience in same field.
Status: Single
Age : 25
IELTS Academic : 5.5. Soon I will give General Training exam.
French test : No. (Will try to learn. But if interview form I will select to give in English Language.)


Please, reply with your knowledge and experience as per Quebec Immigration rules and regulation.

if you meet the score without France Language test, you can apply. I already submitted my application. I am also from CSE.

Yes french (B2 Level) is mandatory in your case. During interview they surely check your french language abilities.
evaluate your points first as per your experience and qualifications it seems you are not eligible for Quebec. Yes your occupation and degree is in the same field and for this you can achieve 12 points in Area of Training.

Education 22/28
Work Experience 6/8
Language English 4/6
French: 00/16
Status - Single
Children 0/8
Financial 1/1
Adaptability** 6/6

So in adaptability ( Interview ) I can score 6/6, I think no one score 6/6 except rare case or luck one. [ These points will be awarded by the visa officer at the time of interview based on your performance (knowledge of French language and Quebec – Province & Culture).] But my french level is 0. So it hardly possible to get 3/6 if interview in English.

Still If I removed Adaptability 6 points then is goes :- 49 + ( Just add 2 for interview from Adaptability ) = 51

Final score: 51.
Do I eligible for Quebec Certificate/getting approval from Quebec immigration and CIC?

Do I have to score minimum 55 for single applicant?

Single applicant need 49.

I do have evaluated for more then 4 to 5 times.

But in that I lag in Employer offer, that I don't have.

In that case, do my current score 51 is eligible.

Please suggest single applicant requirement or scores....
